Gallery K
closed in 2003 after the deaths of its owners, H. Marc Moyens and Komei Wachi,
who were central figures in the Washington, DC art scene for over thirty years.
This
showing of Josephine Haden's paintings was her third solo exhibition
with the gallery
which represented
her for over eleven years. Her two previous solo exhibitions at
Gallery K
(1996 and 1993) featured paintings from the
"Perspectives"
and "Shades of
Green" theme groups.
